Taking care of your hair

Washing your hair

Use shampoo moderately. Your daily hair wash rule should be “only lather once”!

How to take care of wet hair

Shampooing and conditioning has made your hair soft and very sensitive. Pat the wet hair carefully with a towel and dry it gently. Then wrap the towel around your hair in a turban style so moisture can work into your hair for a couple of minutes.

The ideal distance between your hair and the blow-dryer is 30 cm. And don’t use more than medium power.

Styling products containing little or no alcohol are kinder to your hair and keep it soft, shining and beautiful longer.

Wet hair should be combed systematically. To do so, first disentangle it and start by combing the ends. Then, step-by-step work your way up to the hairline. don’t start at the top and work down, this will put too much pressure on the follicle from any tangled hair at the bottom.

Managing your hair requires different kind of combs: for wet hair you should only use combs that are softly rounded and have wide teeth.

Your hair hates sharp edges, ordinary elastic bands and damaging back combing can cause long lasting damage, so avoid the stressful hair ties.
